Culver City's Boulevard Music Summer Festival Starts July 11.
Boulevard Music presents 6 free concerts on Thursday evenings at 7 pm from July 11 through August 15 in the palm-lined courtyard of Culver City City Hall. Become an entry level sponsor by purchasing one of the 100 premium reserved seats for sale at $10 each per show available at Boulevard Music. Tickets are now on sale.
Curated by producer Gary Mandell of Culver City’s Boulevard Music, Culver City’s Boulevard Music Summer Festival offers something for everyone: A capella Doo Wop from the Mighty Echoes and acoustic blues with Doug MacLeod (July 11); An eclectic mix of country, bluegrass, rock and jazz with Ryan Shupe & The RubberBand (July 18); Jazz and blues diva Barbara Morrison (July 25); Hot country, rock and blues guitar with Albert Lee (Aug 1); Afro-Cuban/Salsa from Ricardo Lemvo and Makina Loca (Aug 8); and the premier Led Zeppelin tribute band Led Zepagain acoustic with string quartet performing Symphony to Heaven (Aug 15). In addition we are providing authorized service for Santa Cruz, Gibson, Deering, Gallagher Guitars and more. Randy brings his experience from building guitars for the Gallagher company as well as building Sullivan banjos for First Quality Musical Supplies. Boulevard Music is a retail music store, music school, and intimate concert venue located in Culver City and convenient to West Los Angeles, Santa Monica and the South Bay. We specialize in fine acoustic and electric instruments (Authorized dealer for Martin, Taylor, Gibson (Banjos and Mandolins), Fender, Ibanez, National, Roland, Takamine, Eastman, Blueridge, Recording King, Big Muddy (formerly Mid Missouri Mandolins), Kentucky, Walden, Simon & Patrick, Art & Lutherie, Ramirez and Vasquez as well as selling and renting band and orchestra instruments including pianos. We feature in concert some of the finest acoustic musicians and performers in the world and have plenty of free parking.
